Our Story

Hello customers! My name is Eliana. You may be wondering how this business came to be. To start, I am 10 years old and I crochet the stuffies by hand. Not with any help unless it’s for motivation and very much not with help from a factory.

Everything started when I went to a friend's house during vacation one summer. I heard from my mom that she knew how to crochet and I bought a kit for crocheting that I got as a present. I thought it would just be a fun hobby that I could do if I was bored. She taught me to crochet and I learned what words go with which stitch like inc means two stitches in one stitch. That is where I made my first stuffie. But it was not made by myself because she would chip in and do some now and then. Then for my birthday I got another crochet kit and started right away to try to do it. Sometimes I would get frustrated and take a break but it was worth it when I finished my first stuffie made all by myself. Things kind of kept rolling from there. I used patterns (instructions) that I could get to make most stuffies, but I also made some stuffies with what I already knew.

After making multiple stuffies I realized that this could make many people happy and would be a good business. After that I asked many people over time that could help me with the business process and how to start. The people who helped me are my friends from PS126 and my teacher from PS126. My dad and mom helped a ton. My dad made this website and my mom helped me get more patterns and they both helped pay for supplies when needed.
